After many years of carrying a "dad wallet", it was time for a change. This wallet is quite slim; if you're coming from a "dad wallet" like I was, just be aware that its design forces you to carefully consider which cards/IDs you need to carry on a daily basis. That being said, it does hold a surprisingly high number of cards. I currently have seven credit/debit cards and four IDs in the wallet, and that seems to be at or near the wallet's capacity.

The wallet itself is well made. I've had it for almost a year and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. The pockets are still tight and hold my items without me having to worry that they're going to fall out. I expect that this wallet will last for many years under normal usage.

My only complaint with this wallet is the money clip. The clip is way too tight. It's extremely difficult to open the clip to put more than, say, three bills under it. While I appreciate the sturdiness of the money clip, I would also appreciate it if the clip were loose enough as to where inserting/removing money didn't require a mild feat of strength. If you have any weakness in your hands, the money clip in this wallet will likely frustrate you. For this issue, I had to deduct a star from my overall rating.

That being said, I am still quite happy with my purchase. The wallet looks great, holds more than enough items, and is built to last. I look forward to many years of use.

Love it. It stops me from carrying 50 unnecessary cards. Simple design lets you push your card out from the bottom for quick access. Cards are secure and the cost isn't bad. Great for downsizing to the necessities.

I got this wallet because I had got a metal one before, and after 6 months all the screws started falling out and it was kinda sad for durability.

This wallet is attractive and spacious, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've had this wallet for over 4 years now, and it has held up very well. I hold over 15 cards in this wallet, and it has withstood the test of time. The pockets are slightly stretched out now, but that's to be expected after jamming all my cards into this wallet. It has three nice hidey holes for various cards that you want to keep out of sight as well. The money clip is fantastic, and holds bills nice and tight. Mine has stretched out a little though because I have been rough with my wallet. I would totally recommend this wallet to anyone that needs something that looks nice, and is functional.

The wallet is as well built as any wallet in this price range that you're likely looking to get your dad for Christmas.

You will find many of the same pockets that you would find any a traditional money-pocket bi-fold wallet.

There is some of that "new wallet stick" and it seems a little more prevalent than some of the brand names in this range, so I'm expecting a longer break in period. It hasn't been much trouble though.

They offer a variety of pattern and color options to suite your (or your Dad's taste).

The real question of if you want this wallet or not will depend on your preference where you like to put your cash.

Do you like the idea of a money-clip in your wallet, or do you prefer the traditional money-pocket?

I normally prefer the money-pocket style wallet, but I wanted to try something different.

What I like about a money-pocket wallet is your money's in the pocket and you're the only one who can see it when you reach to get some. It's your money, it's your business.
You don't have that much privacy with a money-clip. You open your money clip wallet, and everyone who can see knows some of what your business.

The upside to this money-clip style wallet, you don't hold on to useless junk.
If I'm being honest, whether I got cash or not, I always find myself putting receipts, business cards, and other useless stuff in the money-pocket.
With this money-clip style wallet, I'm not prone to do that because I don't have some place I can just throw it. I usually end up just putting it in the trash.
If it's a business card, then I decide, do I really want it, then and there.

Coming from a money-pocket wallet, to this, has really helped me not hold on to all the junk we tend to keep in our money-pockets.

I do recommend if you're wanting to try a money-clip style wallet.
