First one I got out (pink apron) had a small hole right by the pocket. I didn't see the hole until I had decorated the apron. Luckily it was a small hole, and in a place that I could hide it. The aprons are nice for kids. I can't comment on stain or water resistance yet. I will order again but I will inspect all before decorating.
