After getting missing parts(didn't get handle holder for front leg).... and after making a few hot fires to get past smell... after learning how to actually use it without getting smoke throughout the house... It is perfect for our needs... HEATS THE WHOLE 1,100 sq ft house(leave doors open throughout)...

we got a body, door, and front piece. contacted manufacturer... they said they would put an order in for missing parts... haven't been told when or if the missing parts are on the way.

First the bad then the good...
Yes it does smell first couple of burns. A sweet icky burn off smell.
Yes some corners came broke in shipping to house. Shipping package isn't the strongest.
1st time I Iit it I didn't know how to build an indoor fire in a wood burner and I got a backward flow that filled my house with smoke. Watched you tube videos and learned how.
Now the good....I learned how to use a wood burner and build a fire in doors ...tiny bit of smoke but no worse than a fire place.
I on purpose broke out all the fiber board inside the top of stove....I want my stove top hot and boy does it get hot, I'm sweating.
It looks beautiful and rustic in my home and it's HOT!!!!!! If I drip a bit of water on the top, it sizzles dry quickly. It's hot!
I was lucky the broke corners where in the back so doesn't affect the astetic beauty of this stove.
I would buy again but I think I'd go pick it up rather than ship it.
Shipping packaging just doesn't protect it enough. I got lucky.
Yes you do have to buy your own pipe and wall or ceiling thimble, for your room/house custom fit. Common sense duh.

Many reviewers had poor experiences with tattered box and damaged stove. While I have not yet assembled it, upon close inspection, there were no broken parts, and it seems very sturdy and VERY heavy! It was well packaged with thick cardboard, styrofoam and thin wooden veneer as well as fiber/resin corners to keep the packaging together. Will update when assembled, installed and used.

Got it. Goes together easily. The door handle is almost embarrassing. Gorilla glue or epoxy the stupid thing and gather up the pieces of your life. Move on.

this is how it arrived on my steps. stove and parts were fine. packaging a pile of crap. the company needs to take the time to put stove in a wooden crate. a simple box with some support top bottom and sides. imagine what the ups driver felt like as he/she had to struggle with getting this mess out of the truck and on my steps. it weighs 141 pounds. if they put a wood crate around it customer will use the wood for the first burns to burn off the paint and oils outside. a win win for everyone. including the ups driver and how many of these have broken parts because you're too cheap to pack it right.
