Great chocolate , rich flavor for chocolate lovers . Really like it , but it's very small for its price , I guess it's the quality , it's worth if u trying to avoid the heavy metal from other brands . I would buy it all the time , wish would be easy to find in stores , cuz I received it melted . Otherwise great chocolate .

I ordered Mast dark chocolate because of the current reports pointing to high levels of metals in the chocolate, including lead and cadmium. Consumer Reports listed the Mast brand with the lowest percentages of lead and cadmium among all the brands. Although Mast is pricey, I decided to try it. Some of the reviews I read were critical of the quality of the taste, so I didn't know what to expect. When I received the package, opened it and tasted the chocolate, I found it to be delicious. In the past I have tried all the most notable dark chocolate brands, including Godiva, Lindt and a multitude of others, so I can say with confidence that Mast compares favorably with all the others.

I love, love, love dark chocolate, so when I found out about the lead a cadmium issue I was devastated. I eat at least 2 Dove dark chocolate squares a day and then other brands here and there. I saw that this brand had some of the lowest amounts of both contaminants so I decided to try it.
I have tried many dark chocolates of varying cocoa percentages. Some are quite bitter which is not a deal breaker for me, but I prefer moderate bitterness.
I have never had one be sour! This chocolate starts out bitter but then is quite tangy. Odd. Not sure which ingredient makes it this tangy. That being said it kind of grew on me after 2small squares.. I also like sour foods😊. I think it may help my desire to eat too much. It does not leave the sweetness in my mouth that then makes me want to eat more sweets.
Bottom line"¦.if you like chocolate and tangy foods this may be the chocolate for you. If you like your chocolate sweet, you will not like this.
