I bought this last year (2021) for my 8 year old son for Christmas. This toy is awesome! Great speed without being dangerously fast. My 8 year old and 4 year old drove it easily. It wasn't long before he was a pro. The battery life is fantastic. It just keeps going! Not one of those toys you ride for 20 minutes before needing an 8 hour recharge. In fact, it never died while we were using it... lasting 2 hours easily.
This year we ran into an issue with one of the wires. I contacted the company to purchase a replacement part and I kid you not, They sent an email back stating they would immediate ship a new Nighthawk. A few days later, here it is! Incredible customer service and an incredibly fun toy! I would highly recommend it!

1/13/2023**This is an update to original review(below)**: The company handled this better than expected. After reaching out to Amazon seller, they had advised and sent a link to create a claim with the RollPlay company. Honestly, I thought it would end there and nothing would be resolved. I am stunned and happy to report that RollPlay has QUICKLY answered my claim and it is in the process of being resolved. I appreciate the efforts from everyone to make this right.

Unfortunately, it stopped working midway through the first time it was used. After messaging seller, they only advised to contact the manufacturer.
We did slight trouble shooting (but did not want to go too far as to compromise any warranty), but could not get it working again.
Apparently, we are still within manufacture warranty, so I did message RollPlay too.
I will update if this gets resolved.

A lot of people in our family pooled their money so we can buy two for Christmas for our two kids who are 6 & 8. It was a big deal with lots of excitement. Both kids love them.
One came with a faulty charger but the company sent a free replacement right away.
Three weeks into the fun of pretty much daily riding, the 6yr old missed the driveway. He slipped off the concrete edge onto the grass and hit a paver at low speed. The entire front wheel apparatus broke off beyond repair. We were shocked and sad. Customer Service was absolutely stellar, responsive and helpful. They approved us for a replacement night hawk. A few weeks later, we received a full refund instead since they were out of stock.
The kids take turns on the remaining night hawk and are not allowed on the sidewalk. Culdesac only, avoid potholes & carry it up the driveway.

We purchased this for our 5 year old son for Christmas. He LOVED it and multiple of his friends got the same gift so they had a little group riding around all day everyday. Unfortunately after only a few weeks it broke. As much as that sucks, it happens. I reached out to the Amazon seller who immediately responded. I had additional questions and the seller went back and forth with me and informed me that the seller warranty was past the 30 days but the product was still under warranty through the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer and they completely took care of the problem! They made the process easy, hastle free and sent a new Nighthawk that same day. As much as it sucks that my son didn't have his Nighthawk for a couple weeks, it's OK because that can happen and it's how the company/seller react to product issues that make me want to support them. The Nighthawk is sure to be a hit and rest easy knowing that if you have any issues the manufacturer stands by their product!

Ours quit but it was an easy fix. If the power light comes on but it does not move, pop the seat off and follow the blue and white wires that go from the battery back to the motor. There is a connector under frame ,(battery to motor) that came loose. Took a little patience but I was able to reconnect it with some needle nose pliers from both ends. Kids are back to beating the hell out of this thing. Truly am pleased with this. Battery life and durability for the money is amazing!
Snagged this thing on sale ($125.00) as a last min Christmas gift for the kids and couldn't be happier! Kids are 4 and 8 and litterally fight over it. It's so much fun we orderd another one. Battery life is awesome and we made sure it charged for a full 24hrs before using. My kids beat the crap out of it and so far its holding up well. Only issue we had was that it seemed to quit working one day. Come to find out the brake pedal was jammed. Just flipped it over and pushed it back up from the bottom and no issues since. For the price, it's worth its weight in gold. Can't wait for the 24V version to get here.
