We bought this for our backyard where we could have a ping pong table for the kids and also double as a nice table for dinners and work. This definitely fit the bill.
The table is made of concrete and is heavy! It looks like wood, painted well, and looks really good overall. It is difficult to move once put together. Plays fine but you just hear a bit of an empty "dong" sound every time the ball hits since it's concrete as opposed to wood. The net is metal and easy to take off and put on. If you leave it out in the sun, the concrete also gets really hot so you need to keep it covered.
I didn't get a chance to put together the table for a couple of months after I bought it since we were doing some construction in the backyard, when I put together I noticed a corner of the table was chipped and you could see just the gray concrete. I was way over the Amazon return window, so called Joola's customer support and they sent me a brand new side of the table within days. The table is heavy and needed freight shopping, so not cheap to do. They were super nice about it and glad they did.

It's really solid - heavy. Need two adults to move it. Pretty easy to assemble. Took me a little over an hour by myself (but needed some help flipping it upright). Came with a cover that was torn but Joola customer service was great and they are sending me a replacement. The play is nearly identical to a traditional ping pong table except shots at the top of the net have no chance to go over (and fly off the metal net back in the direction of the hitter). Metal net is easy to take on and off if you don't screw it down (and you don't need to do so). And it doubles nicely as a huge outdoor dinner table. Highly recommend.

This table is very heavy in the box. It took about 3 hours to assemble, but is doable by following the directions! Assembly is easier with two people. We really enjoy it, and the grandkids love it!

Do yourself a favor and have a socket wrench ready for putting this together. Had I just used the wrench they included, I would have given up on this and returned it. In fact, I did almost give up and return this. There's so many steps where it's easy to make the wrong move and install something either in the wrong hole or put it on the wrong way. I had to re-do many of the steps. This took a good 2-3 hours total of putting it together. The price is right though. Would love to see something made out of lighter material so it's not so heavy and difficult to maneuver. When the day comes for us to get rid of this thing, I imagine it will be difficult. Nonetheless, the price was good, the table does what it's supposed to.
