It rides great, after about 3 days the clutch or something hangs up and it makes a loud strange sound and keeps going. I have to ride the brake until it stops and then keep popping the throttle until it acts normal again.

Frustrating and somewhat dangerous. Fyi

My review of this minibike.
Purchased this bike on Prime Day and it arrived from Texas to Maine after about 9 days of freight shipping. Prime day purchase saved me a substantial amount on shipping costs.

I wrote this review and selected the stars in the ratings with the purpose of highlighting some shortfalls of how this item is actually shipped.

First of all, the minibike is very nice. I put it together in short order and after fueling it up and putting in the oil it fired up on first pull. Keep in mind though this is a completely Chinese manufactured product. I was unaware of this initially. I do not have an issue with it's manufacturer but it's not Made in America. It is beefy. Bigger tires and heartier frame than typical child minibikes. Carries my 220 lb. frame quite adequately.

The issues:

It indicates in the manual both tires only require 12 psi inflation. Any overinflation could explode the tires. The rear tire when I checked it was at 55 psi!

The pre-delivery checklist provided by Massimo was not filled out at all. Nobody performed this step before shipment. My guess is they receive these minibikes from China just as you receive them. They probably do not even open them to inspect. I may be wrong.

There was damage to the bike. Scrapes and scratches on the frame. Damage to the sprocket / clutch cover. Some small scratches to the rear fender.

I was shocked at how it arrived here at my home. The box that covered the bike was poked full of holes and torn in several places. The thin metal frame that the bike is affixed to was broken in two locations. This caused its function to be flimsy to say the least. I am surprised there was not more significant damage. The green shipping straps that contained it all together were broken. The straps that tie it all together. So, make sure you check things out thoroughly. I only noticed the clutch cover damage once I began to put it together. Working with Massimo currently to have this resolved.

Finally, I am happy with the purchase but really disappointed with the lack of thought in how these are prepared for shipping. Not necessarily all Massimo's fault. The freight carriers are owed some fault as well

The media could not be loaded. Quality was much better than expected, packaging was awesome and delivery was on time with a very courteous driver who insisted we inspect everything and make sure we were happy with it before he left. With proper care this bike should last for many years.

Was supposed to come with oil but did not. Had to do some assembly before being able to ride but not too bad. Doesn't go too fast but I hear there are some adjustments you can make to speed it up. I like being able to cruise around the neighborhood. I rides pretty good even though I am pretty big, 6'2", 210lbs.
The shipper, XPO was horrible! They will not deliver on the date you scheduling when purchasing so do not even expect it. They were 13 days late to deliver. What's worse is that XPO is HORRIBLE at communication. They will not give you straight answers, just garbage. Their customer service team is in the Philippines and they know nothing and have no factual information to provide. They just stall, placate, and try to get you off the phone. 9 calls and 6 emails, and it was a random surprise when I got an email saying my "new" delivery date had been scheduled. I almost canceled my order just because of XPO, the shipper.

This is so cool! Fun for the whole Family. It was bought for my 11 yr old GrandSon mainly. But for others too! This reminds me of a mini Harley. Throttle bracket was damaged on arrival but still worked. Tech support was on it right away. I wanted to buy the competitions that is red. But they raised their prices. This one is way Cooler. The tires are so big & more power than we need. It came with a helmet. You or whoever you get the competitions red one will feel intimidated & not as cool next to this one. Walmart sells the red ones & customers complain of missing parts & bad tech support. My GrandDaughter likes this one more than her all terrain hoverboard & electric scooter. That costs around the same price. I felt like Steve McQueen in the movie Great escape riding it. Don't get a complex by buying the red one. Be the top Dog in the neighborhood. Show off. I received a new throttle cable right away. It was damaged in shipping.
