This isn't your grandpappi's Preworkout. The scoop by itself is massive in size. I've taken a lot of pre- in my life, and the scoop size reminds me of a whey scoop. A serving size of pre-workout is going to weigh in at 25 grams! Other Preworkout servings tend to be 5-10g. That's a lot of girth.

The difference doesn't stop there. Here's a few lessons I've learned after my first dose
1- Don't chug. You don't want to chug it. It'll make you feel a bit nausea.
2- Follow the directions.
3- Drink it like fine wine. Pink out and all.
4- Make sure to add enough water. I had 16 Oz and it wasn't enough for me. The directions say "12-32". I guess I'm more of the 32 oz guy. Make sure you have a container that can hold all of that liquid. I have to use my BlenderBottle Pro 45 to house enough water.
5- I slosh the shaker bottle everytime I pick it up to take a drink. Just to make sure there's nothing in the bottom.

Stars: 4 out of 5.
Pros:
1) Strong and Works.
2) Mixes really well. I don't have any texture issues from the first sip to the last sip. I've never felt like I was drinking sand.
3) A lot of ingredients.

Cons:
1) Pre-Mixing: You can mix this supplement and let it sit for upto 8 hours. The creatine will start to break down after this mark.
2) Morning Workout People: It isn't something you can take while at the gym, which means you'll need to plan on using it on a certain time frame. I'd recommend mixing it as you wake up and drink it on the way to gym. Plan to wake up an hour earlier.
3) It's a unique product. I'm used to taking Preworkout in a shot glass. I dumped my first scoop of Preworkout because it was simply too strong, even in a 16 oz serving.
4) Calories. Dr Stoppani doesn't believe in watching calories. He's a firm believer in hitting all the macro nutrients that's needed - calories be damned. So if you're a IIFYM, you'll feel at home.

Taste: (From a Non-Smoker)
A) Refreshing Melon: Watermelon-ish. It's a little weaker than normal Watermelon. It's Melon flavor doesn't cover up the 'supplement' flavor and takes a little bit to get used to.

B) Fruit Punch: Grape Fruit Juice. It's just as tart with minimal sweetness. There's no red dye in this so it doesn't look the part of a Fruit Punch either.

C) BlackCherry: Easily the best pre-workout flavor that I've tried so far. It has a nice color, something that's expected. It's also got that a strong cherry flavor. It's a good black cherry flavor that you'd get from a candy or soda/pop with it as it's main flavor. The flavor covers up the 'Supplement' taste by a good bit. It's almost not noticeable.

D) Kiwi Strawberry: No real interest into trying it, But I will for you.

Summary:
Taking this Preworkout is a much more deliberate act than every other Preworkout I've used. With it's focus on absorption, quality of ingrediants and flavor, I highly recommend PreJYM 2.0 to you and yours. It takes some planning. But let's face it: Our workout and meals take planning. This is worth adding to the list.

This is the 4th time my boyfriend and I have purchased this brand of preworkout and it is both of our favorite!
We have tried many different ones over the years with neither of us finding something that fit us both, until we got PreJym. I was at first apprehensive about purchasing PreJym originally based on price, but it is well worth it.
RESULTS
Pre Jym provides you with a good amount of energy to get you through your workout without being jittery or struggle to fall asleep several hours later, for those who workout at night or in the evening. I have taken it a few hours before bed and have easily fallen asleep. My boyfriend says that he notices a difference in muscle size when working out, when compared to not taking the preworkout.
SERVING SIZE and MiXING
Due to the potency of PreJym, I take 1/2 a scoop in a water bottle (16oz) while my boyfriend does a full scoop. The photo above is my serving of the Strawberry Kiwi. It mixes very well and does not settle, unlike others I have tried. I toss it in whatever water bottle I am using and shake it up.
FLAVORS
This is where my boyfriend and I do not agree. My favorite flavors are the Strawberry Kiwi and the Rasberry Lemonade. I do not like sweet sugary things, so I tend to enjoy the more natural taste of these two flavors. My boyfriend's favorites are the Black Cherry and the Sherbert. I felt that these were too sugary tasting. He says that he likes them because they are full of flavor. According to reviews that I have read before purchasing, Black Cherry and Sherbert are the top two flavors.
THE ONLY CON
There is only one con that I have come across with this product. When drinking the Sherbert we both noticed 2-3 times that our skin would feel itchy or sensitive when first taking the drink. It only happened to both of us a few times and would only last for a few minutes. We have not had an issue with any other flavor, nor was the issue big enough for us not to purchase it again in the future.

I would highly recommend this preworkout.

Been following Dr. Jim Stoppani for some time now and have gotten great workout techniques and nutrition advice. I was a bit suspicious of some of the negative reviews of JYM Pre-Workout, so I decided to try it for myself instead of my normal pre-workout. I can say it passed the Pepsi challenge for me and is definitely the best pre-workout I have tried and that's based on actual effect and taste firsthand.

First taste. I chose the strawberry kiwi and I found it quite delicious. Maybe black cherry has something off, but I lean towards more citrus flavors. It has a clean aftertaste and I enjoy it. I didn't find it too sweet at the normal dose, but my shaker holds a good amount of water. It was just sweet enough.

Next, performance. I noticed a good tingle within about 5 minutes. There is no shakes or itching whatsoever that I have experienced in other pre-workouts, just a feeling of focus and good energy. I decided to try it for a week before I wrote a review and I have had incredible workouts! I really have had less fatigue during gym sessions and afterwards I feel my body had an optimum workout. I was able to push myself harder and finish out more reps and heavier weight.

The big difference here is the Citrulline Malate and this is important. My other pre-workout had Arginine instead. After some research I discovered that Arginine is broken down really fast in the digestive system and doesn't really have significant effects when taken directly this way. Citrulline Malate, however, is CONVERTED to Arginine that the body will absorb more fully to get the vascular effect of Arginine. This is definitely the difference I'm noticing. On a side note, I am normally sensitive to cold temperatures, but since taking this, I am noticeably warmer. I think that's because my blood vessels are more dilated.

Thanks DR. Jim! I am going to purchase JYM again and again to keep making gains and get the benefits of focus and strength that JYM provides.

So I have been using NO explode original for years now and it is extremely powerful so I was not expecting this product to compare but I was in for a surprise. No explode hits hard and fast but losing its intensity before my hour of training is up. This JYM takes a little longer to kick in but what it has to offer is a long lasting supply of power all the way to the end of my boxing workout. It's like the quality of this pre workout is better for the long haul. I definitely recommend this product but drink it on the way to the gym so it kicks in when you arrive
Taste Wasn't bad at all

If you are expecting this to taste terrible like all the bad reviews are suggesting, it isn't that bad. I don't know if thats because I was expecting the worst, and it ended up not being the worst, but I can say it wasn't as bad as the reviews claim that it is. Sure, it doesn't taste like candy, and it isn't going to be the most tasty thing you've ever had. But that's not the point. The point, is that it is a pre-workout drink. And you are working out to get stronger. So first, to get stronger, get a little bit of a tougher and just drink it. It isn't terrible, so don't act like a toddler.

The only problem I think I found with this, is the amount of caffeine in the mix. Now I'm fine with caffeine but the amount thats in here is claimed to be like 3 cups of coffee, but it feels like its more than that. It will get your heart racing, and I strongly suggest you start out slow and build up to your tolerance level since everyone is different. I weigh just above 200 lbs and I can take one full "serving" but it took me a week to get up to that point, since it just made my heart go faster than I thought it naturally should.
