I've used various sizes of this product and had success in both home and auto a/c units. The house size was installed by a professional four years ago and has held great. At the time, I was charged $110 for this in addition to a service call and a top off of freon. I was unaware this could be a product on Amazon. Later I found it for much, much cheaper....well worth the try as a dyi project. Just be sure to use proper connector and port.
After learning about the product, had an issue in an F250. Compressor was somewhat new but it leaked. Not sure exactly where but it seemed to be a slow leak, probably an o-ring. Installed an auto version and never had a problem after. Recently had the same issue on a Vintage Air unit installed on a C10. So far, so good.

The system at my house had a leak. I searched for it. The lineset goes through the attic and down a wall so a full trace was difficult. This product was easy to use and so far (a few weeks) the charge is holding. Recommend.
