This is an easy fix for hiding the cable box behind your TV. Works great!

Replaces a shelf. Install was easier and better in case of earthquake. Straps make it easy to remove/replace my wifi router, and to reposition it for best airflow. Problem: cannot get much airflow between device and mount. I hope the straps do not loosen with time.

This is a mount of last resort for devices that just don't fit into other brackets because they are too big or too thin or because they have abrasive personalities. Maybe not the latter. It's basically a plate screwed to the wall which has slots to accept cloth straps that you use to wrap around the device and cinch it up tight against the mounting plate. It is very flexible and allows for a wide range of device sizes but larger devices might end up being a little precarious simply because the plate is not that large. There's a built-in level glass which is a bit superfluous because nothing you would mount on this device would ever need to be seen (it's fairly ugly when everything is strapped into place) so there's no need for it to be 100% perfectly level. Close-enough level is fine for cable boxes and such. The straps are long so you should be able to mount most anything within reason as well as much smaller or thinner things. I'm using it for a very small computer which is too thin (1") for almost any other mount, even the generic clamp-on ones.

Is it the most clean look with straps holding the router up? No, it isn't clean looking at all. Does it hold the router nice and secure, yes it does. It was easy to mount, the interval bubble level was a nice touch. Works with my ASUS GT AX11000.
