After we bought a house, I've been looking a durable high-quality large exercise mat that meets all my endless criteria! :-) Building Home Gym has been quite a project for me! Even before we bought a house, I've been fitness junkie love all kind of HIIT workout, Jillian Michael, Beach body workout, etc, and all kind strength training with weights. My ongoing problem usually is finding a perfect mat.
I am VERY PICKY and I need THE ONE AND ONLY mat that works for everything because I don't want to buy too many mat for a different purpose!
I also have a back problem, which means I need very thick yet no too soft mat to do my core/abs workout. Majority problem with other mats was either not thick enough, or if it's thick, it's not durable and easy to tear apart and too soft instead of the firm! But I can't do too firm as it will also giving backpain.
Then during COVID, I also purchased Power squat rack cage, now it's even more important to find a large premium mat for multiuse as equipment mat and workout mat, yet not breaking the bank.
So after hours of research to find large workout premium mat, I went with MRO, and WOW and WOW!!!
Finally, I found the perfect Mat that works for EVERYTHING!! Weight lifting, deadlift, squat, equipment, TRX (I use KO8 which has more functionality), all BeachBody HIIT workout, mobility exercise, stretching and much more. Definitely VERY highly recommended, this is actually the THICKEST (at 7mm), durable, very firm yet so comfy doing my core or plank workout. PLUS this is the highest quality large exercise MAT with reasonable price! LOVE IT!

I have tried several exercise mats. This one by far is the best I've tried. Not the cheapest and not even the most expensive but certainly the best. The padding is perfect amount. I roll it out and back up for my daily workouts and although it is large and a bit heavy it is manageable by one person I use weights and do cardio while wearing shoes and it does not scuff like many other mats I've tried.

So I researched this for a long time! I am a high impact cardio person and this mat is wonderful! I have taught at a gym for 22 years and most gym flooring is impact friendly. My home is wood over concrete and is hard to workout on. This mat is a God send! I told my husband my review was "where had this Mat been my whole life!" No horrible smell and it is thick enough for high impact! I do not leave many reviews but this is one I felt HUGELY necessary to leave and post! This is a BIG WIN mat!!!!!! I plan to buy a second to fully cover my workout room floor! Well money spent! (Tried to load a picture but I cannot get it to upload..,,ugh)
