Ok y'all - I'll admit. I was panicking bc my pup was misbehaving and I got all authoritarian and said, I'm going to fence you in. Yeah right. My pup rides low to the ground so there was no scaling this gate but it was also just too much. Sent it back. If I had like a doodle or big dog, this extra tall gate would do the trick but my dog just gave me really sad eyes and is now roaming free around the house again. Ugh🤦ðŸ¼"â'€ï¸

Bought another brand and it was flimsy and a waste of time and money. So I decided to try this gate instead. I love it! It fits tight and it was way easier to install. I definitely recommend it and I am glad I didn't settle for the other brand.

This gate was fairly easy to assemble and install. I like the height. It seems sturdy so far. My only issue is that the gate is loud when opening and closing. The metal pieces clank against each other. So, if you are trying to be stealthy around anybody sleeping this is going to cause some problems.

We have another gate of the same brand so we decided to purchase this one when we needed a second gate for our new house. The original gate we have is a heavy metal. This one is much much lighter so I can't attest to durability but it is significantly easier to open and close than the original one so I like it.
