Kids love it, some parts of the wood snap off easily

Our kids love this, it's sturdy and the built in cover is great. Our only complaint is the wood around some of the pre drilled holes was brittle and snapped off just from opening and closing the lid. Hasn't impacted usability, just aesthetics.

If you are not handy the directions will be hard to understand. In order for the lid to close, so there is not a gap in the middle, I had to take 1 3/8 in. off two of the sides to make it close tight. Buyer needs to know there is no bottom other than a square piece of permeable cloth, which is smart, that allows water to seep through the sand and out the bottom of the box. Overall I would purchase the box again.
