You get what you pay for. Light is very white and pin point bright. Doesn't diffuse at all. So very piercing light visually. My other lights outdoors are more yellow. On the plus side it includes adapters for many different sized posts. Batteries come already charged. Just remove plastic strip from battery casing and the light will come on. Mounting screws for both bottom mounting and added side stability are included. Super easy to assemble and install. But all black plastic looks cheap which it is. Will be a stop gap solution until we find metal units of higher quality.

Liked the versatility of mounting parts to fit any post. Did not like that one of the reflector parts was broken in shipping. Ordered a new box that was fine and the quality of the reflective plating was much better in the new box.

I wanted something to cover my deck posts to keep the rain from rotting the wood. I purchased these lighted post covers, and I am really pleased with them. The lights are not super bright, so you are not blinded by the lights while entertaining on the deck at night. They create a nice ambient atmosphere while protecting my deck posts. I like that they are attached by screws so that they don't blow off during storms. Screws are much better than caulking or silicone that other manufacturers use, and have kept these covers secure during 70 mph windstorms. Very attractive and functional covers, with no exposed metal parts to rust.
