I have an old Dell XPS 17 laptop with some important software on it and the cord from the power brick to the laptop has shed its entire black, rubberized insulation! I was trying to find some nylon cord tubing to go over it and ran across this stuff. It is great! It is easy to install the wires, even covers the big filter partway down the cord and looks nice when it is all done. I may add some heat-shrink tubing at the ends to make sure it hold tight but for now it fits perfectly, wrapping the wires tightly and keeping them from getting snagged or cut.
