These are terrific. I got them to open packages with. They'll cut through the nasty plastic packages easily. They have a nice weight to them, and are a good quality. I ordered a second pair for my gardening cart to cut bags, tags and cording. They are comfortable for my older hands.

Love the heavy duty quality build!! These are very, very sharp, so exercise caution when using them. Used these to replace a lighter weight, less robust pair of kitchen scissors. Husband who uses them ( he's right-handed) and I use to cut down cardboard boxes from deliveries from companies we buy on-line. Fits my smaller hand and NO PROBLEM using them to cut since I'm left-handed!
