Nice features, good sound...needs some breakin. Out the box it actually sounded warmish, after some time the warmth took a slight back seat, sound real good for the price. However my FiiO M15 sounds better.

I've owned it for a few days and sometimes, very few times, i hear a static sound. HOWEVER, i think this is due to my source rather than the amp. Either way, i wanted to put it out there.
I love this thing. Absolutely love it. It made my headphones SING.
I have several headphones, including Hifiman Arya, Audeze LCD 2, Audeze Mobius, Shure se846, AKG 701, Drop/Senn 6xx.... Etc
Some have small improvements because they are already easy to drive.
The Arya, the Audeze, and the 6xx are not easy to drive (well, the Audeze kinda is)...... But they made all three seem like a totally different headphone in a great way.
ESPECIALLY the Arya.
Plenty of power, incredible sound.
If you are debating on getting an amp, like I was, just get this. You will be more than happy.
This is my first amp. I used to run the headphones out of an upgraded sound card from Asus and EVGA. I should have done this first.

The vast majority of casual audiophiles will find that this exceeds their needs. The sound quality is excellent. The build quality seems very solid. I'm listening to Bach's chaconne through my Senn HD 660S's right now, and the sound is mesmerizing.
I hope Monoprice continues to take the headphone amp market seriously in the future. If they keep making headphone amps like this, with proper marketing and support, they can be major player.

This product is surprisingly good the first one came DOA I was very upset and I wrote a bad review but it looked like Amazon ever posted it but I'm very pleased with that the only upgrades that I could say I wish they would have done a better job with the power switch and the switch for the bypass what sound quality wise it's sweet thank you for this product it does sound great guys if you can get your hands on one so as I'm learning more about this headphone amp is very sweet very clear and detailed sound stages good depth of field is good just sounds different I've owned quite a few headphone amps and this one sounds different and I really like it buy one if you can still get one thank you guys for building such a nice Headphone amp

Everything I have thrown at it sounds so much better. Crisp mids and tight bass. Highs are not bad either. Not sure what the THX deal is? If that's what makes it sound so much better, I am not surprised. I was used to DAC/Amp combos and now I know what my expensive headphones were longing for. LCDs, Focals, Beyerdynamics, Sennheisers all sound so much better. I also have the Sony MDR-7506 and Audio Technica ATH-M50x, these anyway sound good with the DAC/Amps. This amp drives all of them pretty good. I also have Topping D30/A30 Pro combo and Ifi Zen DAC v2 and Zen Can and couple of tube amps. They all have their signature sound stage but this amp paired with DacMagic 200M is really really expressive.
