I bought this set and received it just before Thanksgiving. Let me tell you, slicing the turkey was like a hot knife through butter - I honestly didn't expect that, given the price of these knives! It's now January and I'm still amazed every time I use them. Not a chef by any means, and I don't use them on a daily basis, but when I do, they perform flawlessly. I've even used the serrated steak knives to cut summer sausage, and the knives just go through it without even doing the sawing motion...it just goes straight down with minimal pressure. I thought that was cool!
I've seen reviews here where the blades broke when dropping them...I have not dropped one yet, so I can't speak to that..but I would suggest not dropping them, especially onto a hard tile floor. They are hardened steel, which has a trade-off of being more brittle vs keeping an edge. Just the nature of the beast.
I do recommend these knives - sharp, easy to use and they look great on the countertop!

The handles should not be run in the dishwasher. They are a handwash item. Take care of them and they will give you years of beautiful work. We have used every piece in this set and have really enjoyed them. I cook A LOT and I love these I suggest you try them.🤟
