I am so glad I found these! My kids have hypermobile joints - ankle support is much needed. The shin guards are way lighter and more comfortable than any hard plastic option, yet sturdy and thick. Good compression. Also space saving when packing soccer gear!

My daughter was getting kicked a lot and got some big bruises on her ankle bones. These shin guards are a great solution. She loves them, even though they can be tough to take off, especially when sweaty. She is 10 but very lean and most things are baggy in the calves, but these fit great. They might be a tough fit for a larger calf. She plays several times a week year-round and has had these a year and they're still like new. When they get a bit smelly, I soak overnight in a bucket with oxiclean and they're good for another couple of months.
