So I've been crocheting for a few years now, like a maniac, and I tried loom knitting a couple of years ago and got addicted to that too. I bought a cheap round loom set off Amazon with 4 sizes of round looms, plus a rake loom. That wasn't a bad set, but these Flexee looms are better then any other loom for one feature that no other loom has: you can adjust the size, increasing or decreasing, basically at will, by binding off stitches and then removing the links. They're pretty easy to use, the plastic is nice and thick and seems like it'll last for a while. User-friendly, just clip them together in the order that you want - there's rounded-edge and straight-edge pieces in two different colors. I like that they come in two sizes, I bought one of each size. They're just a great loom and I would say, if you're new to looming and looking at buying some sort of loom set, think about buying these. You can use one or a few boxes of these in place of any other loom set, and you can knit flat or in the round with them, along with being able to decrease / increase easier. Plus, they're customizable, since you can buy another box and add that to the set you already have, so you can basically make any size flat or round loom that you need for the particular project you're doing. The wood looms are nice for people that can afford it, but for me, these looms are absolutely perfect, they hit all the marks, and I would definitely recommend to anybody who likes to knit or crochet. Can't say enough good things about them!

I will be honest, I was skeptical at first- thinking it would be hard to manage a loom that bends so easily. Boy, was I wrong! First off it is easy to learn. No patterns are included, but there are a plethora of how to & pattern videos on YouTube.
I absolutely love the fact that this loom is bendable. It makes it so much easier to manage when you're making a larger project. The fact that it bends & folds makes it much easier to manage as opposed to a bully stiff loom. (The traditional looms are great too!)
This loom also handles bulky yarn with ease. I plan on ordering another set! If you are on the fence like I was, go for it, you won't be disappointed!!

There's so much to love about these flexible looms. It's incredibly convenient to be able to customize the size for your project and have several projects going at once. I'm ordering my second set of this size so I can work on some smaller projects while tackling a larger one. One thing that I found to be helpful over traditional looms (I'm not a pro, so forgive me if I'm not using correct terminology in explaining this), depending on the yarn, sometimes it can be challenging on a typical loom to stretch the yarn and just simple knots can be tough on the hands (and even break the pegs). With these flexible looms, I don't experience that, because you can flex the loom and lighten the slack enough to knit it off.

I purchased all 3 sizes and have loved using this larger one for quick knits and I think it's my favorite, most versatility of the 3.
