Great quality. I just returned a competitors (Defective) product (made in China) which was $5.00 more than this. I can tell just by picking them up, this Amarine-made 1500GPH pump weighed 3x the Chinese product. That tells me the American motor has three times the copper winding, and would be better built. Plus when I hooked this up it was very powerful, and really pushed the water at a high volume.

Works as good as Rule so far. Put in my mudboat so it gets used pretty hard. Hard to beat the price on these. I will update if it goes out.

It went out right at 2 years. It was cheap so I guess I should not expect it to last as long as the more expensive ones.

It is a decent pump. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because it's a replacement for the exact same pump I first purchase. What I found is you have to disassemble it take the bottom plate off and reseal it with silicone so water can't Ingress into the motor area. The factory sealed just doesn't seem to cut it in the long run. So like with a lot of these pumps as soon as you get them you have to disassemble them in kind of rebuild them get them the last longer.
