Awesome underwater camera bought it for ice fishing and works excellent no issues at all battery lasts over 8 hours on full charge with recording with included 16gb card. It records at an hour per gb so plenty of storage of a days fishing! Clarity depends on the water your fishing and sunny or cloudy skys. But over all pretty dam good for the money. Would definitely recommend to anyone have already recommended it to a couple buddy's at love to fish.

I've owned these things in the past and they were always junk so I was not expecting much from this one.
The first time I used it I was in 75' of water in the Pacific Ocean, a few days after a big storm so the water wasn't very clear. To my surprise, the lights were very bright and the picture was crystal clear. I've only used it one other time since then but it has earned a spot in my boat.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this product because I wanted to find the places on my river where the fish were. There are several deep places and my depth finder shows that's there's fish there but I wanted to be able to see them. I'm still in the stage of learning how to best use it but definitely making progress. The battery charges quickly and It's easy to connect the screen and the camera to it. Turn on the battery and the screen and it's ready to use. I love the different LED modes with the LED adjustment knob (see pics in product description). If it's sunny you may have to move around a bit to see better but that's normal for anything with a screen. If you buy one with a DVR you record with a push of a button. The attached video was recorded during the day. If you're interested in exploring what's underneath you this is a must. The biggest benefit for me besides the clarity is that you get more features than the standard brands for half the cost!
Update: Yesterday I took it out and tried it under a bridge over our river. I was down below 30 feet and could see the bottom quite clearly. Very impressed. Hint if you want to find fish first check under the bridges!
