Overall a really cool toy if your kid is into tinkering like mine. I would say this toy it for 10 and up please there is quite a bit of assembly and small pieces. But the engineering experience this toy gives us A+. My son had to use more brain power to assemble this as compared to a lego set and ponder over how to connect solar panel part so that it will work. Great learning experience toy!! It was great to stretch his brain, but warning it may not all get done in one sitting!! Definitely a good challenge!

What a great toy! Got this to challenge my son in building something as well as cater to his love of robots and he has had a blast! The pieces came in sheets so there were no missing pieces or bags torn open that sent pieces flying and putting it together was made into a fun family time that had us thinking and laughing as we built our little robot. My son is loving his solar robot and I am so glad we got it!

It's took 1 and a half hours to two hours to build the Solar bot With my 10yrs old son Great little educational learning bot for kids age 11 and up 12 bot To choose from . I chose the dog robot Needed a lot of pieces and difficult to build . But over all fun Makes a great birthday or Christmas gift . My son had fun building it worth every penny.

The product was easy to assemble once we have the appropriate tools. You do need wire cutters versus scissors to get a cleaner cut. My son really likes the toy and it's neat that you can make it into so many different things. Basically getting multiple toys in one. I definitely recommend this as a gift or for your own child. It has small pieces so maybe not a younger child. The directions were pretty easy and I like that they included baggies with stickers to keep the part separated.
