I bought this to put under our Christmas Tree! I wanted something that would excite my grandchildren when they visited for Christmas. I had no problem putting the tracks together and inserting the batteries. It certainly did the job. My 3 year old granddaughter was on the floor watching the train go around. My 1 1/2 year old grandson took the train off the tracks and chased it as it scurried on the wood floors. It keep them entertained for a long time. Can't wait to put it up again next year. This will bring us many family memories.
Track is a little flimsy.

Nice train set however the track is flimsy and can easily be bent or mis-shapened making it difficult for the train to move. Disassembling it can be hard as the snap together and the tabs can break off.

This is definitely worth the buy, the kids love it. Their favorite part is the smoke coming out they're memorized. Took 1 star off for not being able to use the lights and smoke without the sound and that does get annoying.

Using this for Christmas around my tree but wouldn't suggest use as a toy for any age. Track is easy to break and some difficulty putting together without breaking. This is my 3rd train I have for decoration for Christmas as my dad was a railroad employee for yrs. Guess you get what you pay for. Was cheap.
