This is a sturdy chair, rated appropriatel.y, Im 260+ and feel comfortable sitting on this chair. It is slightly flexible and might seem like it is bending or sheering, but, put together firmly and properly you have no fear of its structure supporting your weighjt.
only complaint, cushions are slightly thin, they compress and its a firm seat. Could have more foam density for my money. but that is the only complaint.
my lower back feels better and switching from this to a yoga ball has given enough comfort for me to recouperate from my back injury.
I would recommend buying this,
note attention aviso!!!: When you first start sitting on this you will be forced to sit more upright with bettere posture. As you will be using all the smaller muscles you have been neglecting by sitting in a regular office chair; this can prove uncomfortable. Give it a few days. let your back catch up. it will get better and you will eventually feel better

As soon as I sat on this kneeling chair, I realized that is no backpain associated with sitting. Very good. I can rock back and forth and realize there is relief in the waist and shoulders/neck as well. It is a very good investment, specially for its price. The manufacturer does need to enhance the assembly instruction sheet. One good thing is that the package includes 1 extra metal parts (screws & nuts). When you assemble, you need to make sure the orientation of the panels (they have specific sides - longer/shorter edges). You really have to decipher the drawings in the instruction sheet. Before tighten the screws, leave them loose. Otherwise, the woods may not align and the last screw may not go inside the whole. First connect the screws to the bolts loosely. Then tighten them. It happened when I was assembling the panel "I" (the bent one with curves).

This chair absolutely saved my back! I was looking at a more expensive version but decided on this one to see how it helped. I'm glad I did! I could hardly walk upright because my back was so messed up from sitting in my chair. I tried a walking desk but found it harder to focus. This chair engages your core and tilts your pelvis to completely alleviate pressure on your spine. I took off one star because I think the knee cushions are a little too squishy and it can make it hard to stay stable. You do have to work on finding the person position so you're not putting too much pressure on your shins or sliding down. Once you find the spot though it's awesome. I am also ADHD and love the rocking feature.

So I can see how assembly could have been annoying. The holes sometimes don't line up but you just have to be patient and keep angling and working with it. The instructions could have been better, like the instructions had labeled each part A, B, C but the parts itself does not have any stickers specifying which ones are A, B, C. You have to just figure out base off of length and angles.
I can also see why everyone is saying this is unstable. They could fix this issue by adding and extra bar between the knee area. Otherwise, it's not bad, there's another similar brand that's like $100 more and it's the same issue. So, I'd say definitely not a brand issue.
I gave this a chance but I just felt it wasn't for me. The rocking is what I was really excited for but it doesn't feel smooth. I'm also 5'3 and felt I kept sliding up so it just felt weird to me. I can definitely see this work for others though.

Fun and comfortable for back pain

I got this chair because I really wanted this design but couldn't deal with paying hundreds of dollars for such an odd looking thing. For reference I am a vet nurse who works in rehab speciality so I am physical and in between that need a comfortable place to reset while I get my notes done. It was hard to put together and the cushion part never feels stable, especially the feet pads. Despite that, it was comfortable, I found myself sitting taller and rocking back and forth gently helped both my back pain and my ADHD brain. Bonus: Everyone at the office kept calling it my "sex chair" so that was fun at a new job. So I took it home to spare my reputation. Lesson learned. Still, it's pretty fun and bang for your buck.
