After my bunion and hammertoe correction surgery my doctor said I needed to wear a splint to keep the big toe in place for several weeks after I was out of the cast. I found this and it's good because it's very soft so does not hurt to use since it's placed over my still healing incision. The doctor did say the metal band in it was too hard for me to use now but I easily cut it out with a little slit to the fabric. It will easily slide back in if I need it later. The Velcro toe strap was also just long enough for me to create the bend in the toe joint my doctor wanted. My surgeon did point out however that these splint devices do NOT correct bunions. They can provide relief but they can't actually move and reposition your bones for a permanent solution.

Suffering with bunions is already difficult but having relief from a product has been helpful. I opened the product up and liked that there was many features. I was able to test what felt best for my situation and read through the booklet which was really informative. I do need to use on more of a consistent basis but when I use it I can feel a difference. Seriously! It obviously isn't going to remove your bunion but it will certainly relieve pain. Thank you!

My large toe is gravitating towards the right. This was recommended by my daughter who also bought a set. I love it. It is very comfortable, I wear it every night while sleeping. It does not impede my sleep at all. It seems to be helping, but then during the day while I wear shoes, it pushes my toe back toward the second toe. It might be tight in a shoe if I were to wear it during the day, so I have not tried it. I do believe it is helping, I have worn it for about 3 weeks now. If and when it wears out, I would purchase a new set, it feels good on my feet. The velcro attachments are easy to use and can fit to your liking.
