The set is great, bases are all mounted in rubber, the knifes sharpend with them are sharp enough the shave hair, my spouse could not believe the price i paid for them , there are comparable sets going for double. They have done such a great job im buyibg a second set for my father in law

It's what I was needing, broke two of my starter stones and needed to replace. I received these in a timely manner and kept them in the box for a couple months till the other day. When I went to organize my stones and replace what I needed I quickly realized that the stones are not individually marked according to grit. There was no telling which one was what.

These are designed to be used in a fixed angle sharpening system. I see some reviews mentioning how small they are. Yea, that's the point.
Mine arrived in good condition and yes, they are unmarked. However, the seller clearly displays the color to grit in the description and the guides found in the reviews are just wrong.... way wrong.

Likes: they fit in the sharpener I ordered here. They are much finer than the ones that come with the sharpener.
Dislikes: still no labeling. They send you a color chart that says what each color grit is.
Pro tip: these are whet stones. They tell you to soak them in water for 5 minutes before using them. I had more success with using a fine honing oil than only water. Both work just oil worked better.
