Cracked the screen on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Wasn't looking to spend another 2k on a new iPhone only to have a newer model come out next month. The mister was able to swap out the screens rather easily with the help of a heat gun. I must say I actually like this screen better than my old one. It actually seems much brighter. No issues with loss of sensitivity. Would definitely recommend!

Bought to replace XS Max broken screen. Wife left phone on hood, which flew off in highway at 40mph. Retrieved phone with amazingly only broken LCD which rapidly bled to cover 2/3 of screen vertically.

Pros:
Came with most necessary parts you need for replacement process
Instruction was reasonably good - encourage you to watch video in addition to the pictorial illustration
LCD was good quality - though wife said contrast was a little too dark even with adjustment and there was a slight green tint to it comparing to apple oem screen. Touch was very responsive.
Facial recognition works - if you transfer ear speaker, microphone and light sensor correctly
Waterproof adhesive for lcd frame to ensure good seal
Insulation pad for 12 screws to be removed with clear red dots for keeping track of which screw goes to which slot
Good size suction cup to separate your LCD from iphone
LCD protective film

Now for the cons:
Bad screw drivers - I would not recommend using the pentalobe or the tri-wing came with the kit. Some screws are so small mm in depth. These did not engage the screw head reasonably and if you have poor eyesight like me, you might strip the screws (especially the tri-wing) which would be bad
If you fix your own like me, invest in a good set of screw for the sake of your iphone; preferably magnetized tip which saved me from dropping these tiny screws into various gaps in the iphone
Not quite accurate instruction: I would recommend placing waterproof adhesive BEFORE attaching all 3 cables - care MUST be taken as not to engage the lcd edge near the 3 cables to the waterproof insulation prior to closing the lcd. I would also connect both the 3d and the display flex cable to test the LCD prior to final installation. On my iphone following their instruction did not result in any lcd activity. Also there is no instruction as to how to apply the water seal and there is no clear label as to which end goes to the top or bottom of the iphone.
The pad for the screws holder did not have sticky surface. I would place a double sided clear tape over the pad to minimize the risk of loosing screws
Lastly the lcd itself is not quite flush the iphone on my replacement. QA issue with non-uniform flatness of the LCD. I compressed the LCD down onto the frame
to assist with the pentalobe screw installation. Once the screw engage, the lcd seats better but still ever so slightly non-uniform around the iphone bevel

Overall rating is 3.75. I took a 1/4 point off for next to dangerous screw driver, especially the tri-wing tip. The pentalobe was barely usable but I would have strip the screw had I not pinch/compress the lcd to assist with screw engagement. Inaccurate instructions for testing the lcd and no instruction as to how to install the waterproof seal. Lastly was the non-sticky surface for the screw holder/pad

Given this was my first time to replace the XS max, I'd say it's a very good product. Oh, btw, return was easy though the seller did not respond to my queries for return. I went directly with amazon return request.

The fit was perfect. It came on immediately and works perfectly. I was a little concerned at first because the old screen had blew apart so there was chunks of glass stuck to the proximity sensor. But it came out amazing and looks good and works just as it should.

My son demolished the screen on his iPhone 11. He was picking up a 25 lb rock when the phone fell out of his pocket and then he dropped the rock on the phone. Toast.

When I looked into what a screen replacement from an authorized repair shop would cost, it was more than the phone was worth. I imagine that's by design. But I wasn't going to do that. So I watched some YouTube videos, settled on the more expensive (because more expensive means better, right?) of the replacement screens on Amazon, and decided I could do it myself.

I'm a pretty handy guy, I have done more extreme stuff with $15,000 motorcycles than I was imagining doing to my kid's $300 phone, and I've built more than a couple computers from parts, so I wasn't all that worried about it. The job itself is pretty straightforward, especially if you watch a few videos. The thing no one seems to want to talk about, though, is these screws are TINY. There are a few that are legitimately smaller than a breadcrumb. They come out just fine, but it took me hours to get them back in. I bet I spent 15-20 minutes per screw, and there are a lot of them. I could have had this job done in less than an hour otherwise, but It took me close to 3 hours. Again, I'm not an idiot around a screwdriver, these are just extremely small screws. There was a point at which I was fairly convinced I'd never get the phone put back together.

Eventually I did. And everything seems to work just fine, although the screen itself seems a little bit dimmer than the factory screen. Otherwise, this does what it's supposed to do. But I will NEVER be doing this again. After I factor in the value of my time, it would have been cheaper to pay someone to do it.

The tools provided do what they're intended to. But I'd say they're clearly not supposed to be long-lasting. I'll throw some of them in the toolbox for occasional use, and some of them in the garbage. The screen protector is a nice touch. A lot of the videos don't seem very explicit about it, but be sure to put the replacement gasket on before you reattach the ribbon cables on the new screen. It does give the warning about the phone being unable to verify the screen is a legitimate Apple product. It's easily dismissible, and the manufacturer says that will go away eventually. If it doesn't, it's not that big of a deal. But again, it's not my phone, so I suppose it could be to you.

Long story short: this is all doable, but it's very tricky. Especially if you have old eyes and old fingers. Best of luck.
