This is a great item, available in various colors - good for very low voltage electrical repairs, such as your iphone cord (NOT on a regular electrical power cord) - moldable, chewing gum type adhesive that you can mould as you want too, perhaps to fix a cup handle for example, and then it will dry hard and durable. I am using it now for a fixture pipe that goes through my sink - to keep water from splashing up around this and end up under the sink. Great for moulding around a bare spot in your iphone cord - or on my computer keyboard cord - both very low-voltage applications - you CAN NOT use this around the regular voltage of regular extension cords and such.

Been using Segru for this and that, several years now, mostly to fix computer cables. Kinda fun to work with. Great to have when you need it, but pricey. And it has a limited shelf life as well. I keep mine in the fridge, which helps, and so far it's been good for a year or more.
Hard to know what color(s) to buy before the need arises. Still...super product for fix-it AND creative stuff!

I use Sugru for almost anything. Since Tesa took over the product however, it is more diffucult to get hold of.
As promised, it took three weeks and freight charges are high since it seems not to be in stock in Europe.

This is a very useful material but I no longer keep it in my stock because its shelf life is short.
It begins yo harden in the package in about 6 months.
So now I just order what i need for a project from amazon an get it delivered in about 2 or 3 days.
