The perfect quilt

I am obsessed with this quilt. My husband and I are both extremely hot natured so this quilt is the perfect summer blanket for our bed. In the winter we can always add an extra blanket but most of the time a thin quilt is perfect and this one is definitely one of the softest I've ever felt.

I've owned this set for over a year. Before the one year mark it began to fade, pill, and fall apart at some of the seams. I really wanted to love this set and I did when I first received it. It's beautiful and lightweight, but it just didn't hold up to washing. Just a note: I did wash it weekly to bi-weekly depending on soil level from a dog laying on it. Even with the negatives I am going to buy another set and wash it on a delicate cycle this time around. Previously I washed it on the bedding wash cycle. I also have a new washer, so hoping that will make a difference also. Not sure I'll be able to keep the dog off it so washing will most likely be weekly still. I will update my rating and review after buying and using the new one.
