I used these to repair the wheel base of a pet carrier after the cheap wooden plate broke. It originally fastened with some kind of rivet that I was able to remove with a pointy tool, flat head screw driver & pliers (pain in the butt). I could only find 3 sizes at the hardware store and this set provides a variety so I was able to find the perfect one. It's also stainless steel not aluminum like the ones I saw at the store. I cannot comment on durability since I just finished the project but I will update after I travel this summer.

Very hard to find fasteners that are manufactured from stainless steel. Much stronger than the usual aluminum fasteners and resistant to corrosion if used outdoors. Apply a little epoxy on the threads and you have a very strong rivet that can be used to attach two items together.

I used these to replace some rivets I drilled out on an old school chair. The assortment made it easy to get just the right depth and I used locktight to make sure the don't back out over time. Just wish the description would have mentioned the heads are 3/8" in diameter, slightly smaller than the old rivets, but it worked out well.
