Well"¦ the instructions are only 50% useful. Be sure to install the floors before you install the lamp holder. You'll regret doing it their way. The sides and bottom do not line up properly but I made it work. The holes for screws are only sorta drilled, hope you're good at building stuff. As for Shelly, she's thrilled. Lots of space for her to roam. The door cut out is definitely big enough for her, which was my biggest concern. Overall, a good buy, just interesting to build.

Others have mentioned one piece was too large or small. That piece is not being put where it belongs when they are assembling the hanger included for the light was useless. I drilled pilot holes for the screws because I can see where the wood could split. After it is assembled it looks great, and our new cherry head tortoise couldn't be happier.

This was used for a baby blue tongue skink and then converted into a indoor home for ducklings. The fir wood holds heat great, all the pieces were cut perfectly, everything about this "tortoise table" is perfect
