I found a pair of shoes that I purchase in 2006 that I thought I lost during a move. They were pretty beat up but they were my favorite pair so I figured I would try to clean them up.
The kit worked surprised well. I'm not going to say they are good as new but given the age of the shoe and the hemp material, it was gentle enough to not cause any damage.
I took before and after pictures (lighting isn't great) and you can see how much better the tip of the shoe looks. There was no weird smell after either. I would recommend it to anyone looking to keep there shoes in good shape or bringing an old pair back to life.
