Revised - I bumped this from 1 star to 4 simply b/c my kids love it, and they has a huge factor on things. I wouldnt "train" with this ball but it's fun to do tricks with juggles and curve shots. I still think the ad is a good bit missleading.

I should have read the reviews instead of just buying based on the ad. There's nothing special about the "Using aerodynamic materials and special patent-pending paneling". Since what makes a soft "foam" aerodynamic? I dont see airplanes using this stuff to make them more "aerodynamic".
The ball is just light and doesn't go far at all. It's not really useful for a keeper since no one will ever be shooting a ball that drops in speed this significantly and weighs so little.
Save your money and buy a super light "Franklin" ball from wallyworld and you'll achieve almost the same things. Super disappointed.

My kids Love playing with this! But, don't count on being able to see it at night. It needs to sit under bright lights for a while for the glow-in-the-dark pieces are visible at night. Not easy to do around the entire ball. And because it is mostly black, it is really hard to see at night.
Also, it shouldn't be used on pavement. The surface feels kind of like a dense foam, and I think it would scratch off pretty quickly if used on pavement for long.

We opened it today for my son's birthday. It comes with directions and I followed these. It states to inflate until you can push down a half inch with your thumbs. I started to inflate with the pump and the ball just stopped inflating. I got a different hand pump and pumped it until the ball started to release air by itself. The ball will not allow me to inflate it any farther.
Ok followup. I emailed the company and they responded within 12 hours! They talked me threw it and are sending a new ball. The thought is I somehow could have popped the ball with the needle. So I'm going to give it another try. Customer service is amazing at this point!
New update. 7-24-21 got the new one in the mail today. Inflated perfectly. Great product. Works well.
