Iv always love the look of furs, however I quickly realized that decent immitation fur is surprisingly expensive. I was hesitant to try this because the price seemed too low to be good quality, but Im glad I gave it a shot! I havent seen a single bit of shedding at all. Its super soft, and quite heavy. The only thing I would advise to a potential buyer would be the weight of the blanket. I find myself laying on top of it rather than using it as a blanket cause its quite warm. If it was large enough it could easily be used as a comforter. I already plan to buy a few more to keep in other rooms. Solid buy.

I bought the chinchilla blanket and it's the one that everyone fights over as it's so soft and well made. I bought two other blankets for my kids of a different cheaper brand ($60 vs the $130 that I paid for this one) and there is just no comparison on the quality. The blanket is nice and long too so when laying on the couch, it feels heavenly. Nice weight and feel, washes well.
