I have an almost-4-year-old who loves vehicle toys, and this set is right up his alley! The bigger vehicle can enclose one of the 2 included mini-bikes, and then launch it with a button on the top, or just pull-back on the larger one and the entire thing propels itself forward. Encourages a lot of imagination play, and the construction seems higher quality than I expected for the price. The parts that snap together make a satisfying "click", and the launching mechanism is equally satisfying to use. The larger vehicle has optional batteries to make noises, but you can leave it out and the toy is just as much fun. I opted to leave it out and not tell him about this option so that it doesn't just make noise in the background all day- I prefer that he use his imagination for things like that.
