Very easy to align. Sits PERFECTLY flushed onto the mouse. I had no awkward bubbles or any peeling or gaps.
With the two extra pieces I was also able to cut some shapes to put on the sides and back end of my mouse which were perfect for me.
The adhesive is also good enough to readjust your initial placement if it is a little off, while still being just as effective.

It's worth it, if you need some extra grip. Although the original feel of the mouse is rough and non slippery texture. It takes less effort to make every single click counts with this grip tape.

After only a year, the standard coating/texture on my left mouse button shows significant wear. Grip tape to the rescue! The tape will fulfill its duty as a disposable, removable, sacrificial surface, and as a bonus, it provides a modestly textured, slightly grippier surface. How grippy it feels for you will depend on how your fingers rest on your mouse and how aggressively you click. Rapid clicking like in a FPS feels no different. Click-and-drag behaviors feel grippy and rather nice.
Like most other commenters will note, this is pricey. At least the package contains two sets of the grip tape, which will extend your splurge purchase for twice the lifetime (or, mentally cut the price in half).
