The monitor is comfortable and works great. The app is just in real time and does not store data though. I wish it would track it thru out the whole workout and not just real time.

The Scosche Rhythm R+2.0: Waterproof/Dustproof Armband ("SRW") does what the manufacturer promises it will do!! The SRW stays on your arm during exercise and, if you use the Scosche app or the Wahoo app, your heart's BPM will read out on your cellphone in real time. Problem #1: the SRW, via either app, will *not* show you any type of graph/chart of your BPM over some specific period time, i.e., the app won't provide a graph of BPM ranges during the course of a workout. Problem #2: the battery life is not great. For example, I wanted to see what my heart was doing while I slept. By the time you wake up, the SRW is dead or near dead and again, the apps won't show you all your BPM ranges while you slept. You wake up and it will tell you what your BPM is at that moment. Problem #3: the light that tells you the SRW has power is tiny. Problem #4: The only function button on the band is a push button that will do X if you hold it down for 2 seconds and do Y if you hold it down for 3 seconds. In this regards, it is annoying that so many electronic gadgets (including this one) are like agility tests, counting quizzes and vision exams. Bottom line: if you want a BPM strap that will display your heart rate on your cell phone in real time, this product will do the job and at the price, it's a good deal.
This is my second one...

I had the first generation of this monitor for several years and loved it! Unfortunately, when I moved I lost the charger. This is the second generation and I do like it. However, there's one thing that I haven't figured out. When I turn it on sometimes, after a few minutes it will stop recording my heart rate. I have it connected to my exercise bike. I then shut it off and restart it and it's fine. It does not do this all of the time and seems to do it less after I recently charged it. I don't know if there's some setting that causes this or if it's a fault with the monitor. I still like it because it's easy to use and connects easily to exercise machine. However, I liked my old one better!
