Okay for indoors, not for outside

Great for portability but not so great for daily use. I needed something super compact because I'm in real Estate and it comes in handy when looking at homes and seeing if it'll fit the buyers needs. But this isn't great for outdoor use as it's not backlit and the laser is too faint. You will not be able to use this outdoors unless the sun has come down. I'll be keeping it to use for indoor measurements on the go but don't get it if it's something you'll need for during the daytime outdoors.

I purchased this for several reasons and realized after I got it and used it, it's just to small for me. Will be returning it and buying a larger one of the same brand. Probably great for someone that doesn't shake like I do and if you just need a quick/rough measurement. I couldn't hold it still enough to get the same reading twice.
