I'm new to quilting and was debating on the need for this. After watching some videos about how helpful wool mats are I went ahead and got it! Oh my goodness is this one super nice. I have a friend who spent way more on hers which I couldn't justify the cost, and mine looks just the same. I love it so much I want another one in a smaller size. I use mine to layout my blocks and it holds them in place till I iron them. I carry it to the ironing board to do my pressing. I really love this mat!!!

I really like using this product. It's nice for ironing quilt pieces without having to break out the ironing board. Makes work light and easy. I use a steam iron and the steam saturates the wool mat so be careful of the table you are using underneath. Also, it does have a little bit of an odor. Overall though, I do enjoy using this mat.
