I bought this robot for my 4yo in mind for Christmas. My husband opened it early so we could evaluate if it was worth keeping or not. Let me say this thing is cool! My husband had so much fun testing it out and playing with it. We picked the Red robot because my son's favorite color is red. The remote control was easy to use and will be easy for my son to adapt to. The walking motion was a bit jerky however the sliding motion was smooth as can be.
We tested it on hard wood floors, we did not use it on a rug. The music and talking was cute as well. Songs were fun for a younger kid. It took a minute to understand how to get the hand commands to work with the robot but once we got the hang of it it was the coolest thing. My son is going to love this.
The best feature is that it is not overly complicated to run.
