This brush is very nice. Much finer bristles than my old vintage nylon brush. I think it does and excellent job. Nice metal construction. I thought it would be flimsy plastic, but it's very well made. The needle gel is good too, but my needle doesn't dip into the gel very well because the gel is concave, and it won't reach, but if you tip it you can get it in there. DIP, clean. Now I can sleep at night knowing my needle is dipped in gel stuff and my records are not so dusty.

Great value! 5/5 because both brush and cleaner work great, I do wish though that that cleaner was in a convex mound in its little dish (so the middle stuck up a bit) instead of a concave bowl like it is (the middle of the gel being lower than the sides and the sides of the dish when uncapped) - being concave means that if you don't position it just right, the base of the cartridge can rest on the side of the dish before the needle touches the gel. If the gel were taller in the middle, you could place the needle anywhere within the dish and it would touch. Not sure if that's possible given I assume the gel is poured into the dish and left to set there, but anyway, not a major problem at all

This brush works perfectly. I received a vinyl from Australia so it came extremely staticy. This brush removed the static and my record sounds perfect now.
In regards to other reviews saying the brush leaves scratches, it did not for me. It's not a scrubbing brush, just VERY LIGHTLY place the brush on the vinyl while it's spinning. When I say lightly I mean apply no extra pressure, it's not necessary, it's like a duster essentially.

This carbon fiber brush is similar to most of the other brands, and is just fine. The included stylus cleaner is a nice plus.
When you play a record, the diamond tip collects a small amount of carbon that doesn't come off with simple brushing. Open the stylus cleaner and very carefully lower your stylus on to the tacky silicone.
DO NOT move the stylus at all, or put any extra weight on it. Lift the stylus straight up and the black silicone "sucks" any carbon etc from the diamond tip. This will make the cartridge sound better, and it's easier on your records.

its realy good for wiping a record before playing. the brissles are super fine and soft but thay do get dusty fast and some brissles will fall out but i do use it every time Im about to play a record it does work really well but its not anti static
