I had a problem they got back to me and I got a refund. Before the problem they did work the best of all the intercoms I tried. They will be worth another try. I'll follow up.
OLD:
THE BATTERIES OF 3 OUT OF 4 HANDSETS DID NOT LAST HALF A YEAR! No customer service, they got a page on Facebook. I left a message, with no response. They worked ok, we used them when a meal was ready, maybe twice a day. They had a channel selector that did not work well. So if anyone close was using a wireless device, you got an earful. With the very poor batteries and no support, I would pass. I'll be tossing mine.

These handheld intercoms have been a total life saver for us. My elderly and disabled mother lives with us and I was having to constantly check in on her to see if she needed anything. Now all she has to do is hit the call button and it will beep the other handhelds throughout the house. Therefore, I can go about my day doing what I need to and don't have to check on her constantly. She let's me know when she needs me. I can even go out into our yard and carry a handheld with me and it will beep even out in our large yard. Also, and this is the biggie, my sister lives across the street from me (we live in an older neighborhood with large yards and large wide streets) and I can go over to her house with a handheld and it will still beep me if my mom needs anything. That's right - it will reach that far!! When I need to run errands, I leave a handheld with my sister and she can go over to my house when Mom needs something. But be forewarned, just as you sit down in your recliner and lean back and get comfortable, that dang beeper will start beeping at you! LOL!
I read some reviews stating that some or all handhelds didn't work when people received them. Fortunately for us, all four worked when I received them. However, after a month or so of use, one handheld quit working and would not take a charge. We removed the battery (completely unhooked it from the handheld) and left it out for about five minutes and then put it back in and Voila!! It started working again! Later, another handheld quit working, however, it was still charging so I knew it wasn't the battery. I looked on the side of the handheld at the ABC modes and sure enough the switch had been slightly moved off of the letter B (we keep ours on B but you can use any letter as long as all handhelds are on the same one). Once I moved it back to B, then it started working again. I can't say the two issues I had are the same as other people, but I would like to recommend you try these steps before sending them back or tossing them.

Love the intercoms and the customer service! They were extremely easy to set up. Needed no help! But a day later one of the intercoms would not charge.I remembered that Chtoocy sent me an email.
I found the email and told them of my trouble and got an answer almost Immediatly. He/she instructed me to unplug the battery, charge it again for 24 hours, the press and hold to turn on. IT WORKED!!! It's so unusual these day to have great customer support like this. The intercoms work great!
