I ordered HoMedics Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometer. It gives quick, accurate results (unlike my oldl-school glass thermometer with mercury...and why did I wait so long to switch). I tried another digital thermometer that worked OK but I could never find the appropriate batteries. This model uses AAA batteries (which you can find just about everywhere). I liked it so much, I recommended it to the others in my family.
