These are very quality rocks, very shinny and strong color of black... Having said that, they are smaller than I expected, only about 1" or so, I thought they would be 2" + for the description saying "large" river rocks. This meant I could not use them for what I had intended their use to be which was paper weights on napkins/plates outside for a a luncheon. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars. Had they been bigger like I expected, I would have given them 5 stars.

These are not expanded clay balls. What they are, I'm not sure, but they are not the hat they are advertised as. They feel like pellets for a pellet gun. They are all way way too perfectly spherical and consistent in size. They're also heavy than they should be.
