The first day one of the corner came untied. I tied back best I could to replicate the others. It has lasted 2 summers. 5 weeks at the beach total. The logo is just now starting to peel, seams look good, pole are in good shape and no tears yet!

We did a week long trip to Baja. We had wind and a hot hot temps. This thing was great. Most days we adjusted it slightly as the sun moved across the sky but it was always reliable shade. My big recommendation is to wash the aluminum poles after each use. Other than that this is a great sun shade. Much better than another one I returned which used cheap tent poles.

So I bought this because my family and I are only three and this thing was pretty easy to set up. I wish I had markers for where the polls would go because our tent was a little bit crooked but that's on me and not on the product I do recommend that you get some sort of scooper or a little shovel because that's probably the only thing that is missing from this item to give it a perfect five stars.

With a family of five, a beach day is like UGH to pack and plan for. Having the 10x9 shade for all of us to comfortably sit under is amazing, but even MORE amazing: 1) it packs into a small case that my 6 year old can carry 2) it set up up in under 5 minutes on a windy day (we brought a metal drink tumbler to dig with, highly recommend) 3) it is bright red so our kids can easily find us from the water and 4) it was under $70!!
We watched several other families struggle to put up their shades and I almost offered to send them this link. I have personally been looking for something this easy, compact and affordable for a long time! I will update with its durability after we have used it for a full season.
