Exactly what I thought I was getting

I'm using this shade on our patio to block the afternoon sun when we're sitting out there. I wanted something that would be unobtrusive, yet easy to use. This shade does it all! I usually only put it about half-way down to block the sun, but when it's all the way down, we discovered it could be used as a projection screen. We're planning on using it this Sunday for our Super Bowl Party! It rolls up easily but does take quite a few turns to get it up or down all the way.
My husband installed it in less than an hour with only me helping to hold it and didn't run into any problems. Since we weren't putting it in a window, I can't attest to the sizing of it. We found out that once it is up, it snaps into the bracket. However, my husband was able to put a screwdriver up into the bracket to release the lever that was holding it so he could take it down and adjust the bracket before final installation.

Installed these on a screened in porch that I had built. They went in exactly as described.
Some things to note:
1) If you are installing them inside a frame, the brackets attach from the top, not the sides, to allow for adjustment. Make sure your measurements are very accurate so the brackets sit flush with the sides. On one side, I measured 1/4" short.
2) There will be a SLIGHT gap on the crank side. Not a big deal, but I didn't realize it at the time.

Easy to install and product seems well made not too thin the shade which is good for exterior use. Only complaint is the roll down mechanism rod is a bit cumbersome and had to unwind the shade to the down position by hand directly at the knob
