So much better than the scotch brand

After using two boxes of the scotch brand tape I got so frustrated that I finally ordered this tape. This tape actually sticks to the boxes. Some people posted videos on how to set up the dispenser to cut the tape. Watch it 1st. This tape is so much better. I usually don't trust amazon brand items. This one is different. I'm going to go through all the boxes and reinforce them with this tape.

I love the convenience of having several rolls already on dispensers, but I wish the rolls were bigger. The tape itself is quite thick and feels sturdy. There is an unpleasant smell, though.

I love this tape. It adheres very well and I am confident it will not just come off. I have used other packing tape before, and felt like the tape was barely sticking to the box. This Amazon tape is thick and feels like it is completely adhered to where it is applied. The six pack is great and will last a while. The dispenser is easy to use, protects my hands from accidental cuts, and cuts the tape easily and cleanly. I will definitely purchase this tape again when I am running low.

Three things annoyed the hell of me with Scotch Brand shipping tape.
1. It was a challenge every time I needed to start a new roll of tape by being unable to loosen the start of the tape and begin using it without wasting a lot of my time.
2. There were too many times when the tape would slip off the holder having it slap back on to the roll. Every time that happened, the nightmare of trying to find the complete edge of the tape and to finally managing to get it to pull off as one tape and not in shreds took me thirty minutes or longer.
Amazon dispenser easily resolves it as starting the tape happens in second. The same goes for when the tape slips off the holding pins.
3. The jagged cutting edge need to cut off Scotch Brand shipping tape is a serious danger. This is particularly true if children are trying to use it. It is even a danger to adults as their cutting edge is always exposed. Amazon tape dispenser's cutting edge immediately retracts after cutting off a piece of tape. This keeps everyone safe.
