These brakes are clearly not high-end quality. They are stamped or molded and have rough edges from the forms. It took a little adjusting to get them straight on the frame and fork, but once there, they work very well. It remains to be seen how durable they are, but I'm impressed with their stopping power thus far. The cap nuts on the brake pads are pretty junky - the cap popped off two of them when I tightened them, but that doesn't affect them functionally, just aesthetically. You can see in the photo of front brake where the caps have popped off. The one on the right shows why - the threaded shank of the brake pad bolt is too long for the cap nut. I put another one on the left that I had laying around. I bought them for an older Motobecane Grand Touring bike that needed thru-bolt type brakes. I prefer side-pulls and didn't need high-end, which high-end side pulls that are thru-bolt are hard to find anyway, and these were very inexpensive - even if you replace the cap nuts. If you get these, expect to play around with them to get them the way you want - functionally and aesthetically - and I wouldn't complain at this price
