Make sure it is in charger properly

I like that it does work on the 4G T-Mobile network. I use it as a home phone but one day I guess it got knocked a little bit and it died down. And when I put it back on it still didn't hook up correctly so now I make sure that it's charging before I leave it. The pros are it has an alarm on it which is really nice. It's a bit hard to use even for calling a learning curve. Overall I'm pretty happy with it cuz it's almost impossible to find a phone that you can kind of use like a home phone. My last one the battery went dead after about 6 months plus it was going to stop working once T-Mobile updated to 5G so being able to find a 4G phone that I could set by the couch in case of emergency the charger sits right there so I'm happy with it.
Solid feature phone and decent for a senior (with Ting-related notes)

First off... I got this phone HOPING it could run on a Ting V1 SIM (which is their MVNO resell of the Verizon network) and I COULD NOT get that to work. According to Jethro, this phone can run on a "pre-activated" true Verizon SIM or by spoofing an IMEI that Verizon /will/ accept. So, this phone isn't a true Verizon device; if you don't have a "pre-activated" true Verizon SIM or can spoof an IMEI, you're SOoL. I was hoping that the Ting "V1" network would be forgiving; instead, it seems to be even stricter; I assume StraightTalk and other Verizon-based MVNOs would not be able to run this phone on their network either. It's a real shame...

So, I had to use a Ting X3 SIM instead. The phone itself is a good, solid feature phone! I had originally purchased a NUU F4L, which could run on a Ting V1 SIM. But the NUU F4L was so impossibly hard for my 72 y.o. mom to use that I gave up on it. By contrast, my mom seems to have fallen in love with the simplicity of this device at first sight.

Such a shame that there's no /truly/ Verizon unlocked version of this phone (like the NUU F4L) or a more usable version of the F4L, but for now at least, this is Mom's usable phone on a weaker cellular network? Life is rarely perfect, and PARTICULARLY not in 2020...

Great phone except for one feature

I bought this for my dad who is not tech savvy, and has neuropathy in his hands which makes him clumsy. The speed dial feature is fantastic--a must-have, and the volume and screen size are very good. No buttons on the sides is a perfect solution for people who need a full grip on the phone. The one thing that needs improved is the bezel around the OK button. It needs to be much larger and easier to see. Every older person I know complains about this on their cell phones, particularly if they have poor eyesight and/or large fingers. I'm surprised they overlooked this on a phone that is otherwise very well designed.
I can rate the delivery of the product -

The delivery of the product was great. Fast and Efficient. Everything arrived one to three days early.

I haven't turned it on yet so I've no idea how easy it will be to transfer my contact list or anything else. The phone is, I think, too big to fit in a pocket - but it's about the same size as every other smarter phone that everyone else has so obviously I'm in the minority on that one. That said, it's definitely not a pocket phone just because of the buttons. Stick it in the back pocket of your jeans and I'm sure you'll pocket dial different corners of the universe with every single step. The universe probably won't be impressed. You will want the case that is sold separately.
